NWS members are covered under Group Term Insurance policy with State Life Pakistan. The amount of sum insured according to the category shall be paid on death of the member, whatever the cause of death may be. In case of accidental death, the legal heirs of the member are entitled for double of the insured amount. Moreover, when a member becomes permanent disable as a result of any disease (medically boarded out) the sum insured will be paid to the member according to the category. In case of temporary disability due to any accident, monthly payment of Rs. 50,000/- shall be made during period of disablement or one year whichever is less.
